The 2025 North American Simulation and Gaming Annual Conference will be held at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio from October 15-18, 2025. Founded in 1809, Miami University is one of the oldest public universities in the United States, known for its beautiful red brick Georgian-style architecture and picturesque campus.
Cultural Significance
Miami University is located within the traditional homelands of the Miami people, and the university maintains a strong and meaningful relationship with the Miami Tribe. This connection is reflected in our conference programming, as one of our keynote speakers will be a representative from the Miami Tribe community, bringing important cultural perspective to our theme "A Path to Playful Learning."
About Oxford, Ohio
Oxford is a quintessential college town located in the southwestern corner of Ohio, approximately 35 miles northwest of Cincinnati. This charming community offers a blend of academic atmosphere, small-town hospitality, and cultural opportunities that create an ideal setting for our conference.
The walkable downtown area features local shops, restaurants, and cafes within easy reach of campus. The town's peaceful setting, combined with the university's excellent facilities, provides the perfect environment for the warm, close atmosphere that makes our conference unique.
Conference Venues
Conference sessions, workshops, and events will take place in various facilities across Miami University's campus. The Marcum Hotel & Conference Center, our official conference lodging, is conveniently located on campus, allowing for easy access to all conference activities.
Evening game nights and networking events will be held in comfortable campus venues that encourage interaction and community building among participants. The Friday gala dinner will take place in one of Miami University's elegant dining facilities.
Weather in October
Visitors to Oxford in mid-October can typically expect pleasant fall weather with average high temperatures between 60-70°F (15-21°C) and lows around 40-50°F (4-10°C). Fall foliage is often at its peak during this time, adding to the beauty of the campus and surrounding area.
Travel Information
Airport Options Attendees have two primary airport options when traveling to the conference:
Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG): Located approximately one hour from Oxford, OH
Dayton International Airport (DAY): Also located about one hour from Oxford, OH
Airport Transportation Conference coordinators are arranging transportation options between both airports and Oxford to make your journey as smooth as possible. These services will help eliminate the stress of navigating to our somewhat tucked-away location.
Transportation Assistance When completing your conference registration, you'll have the opportunity to notify our coordinators about your travel plans and transportation needs. This will allow us to better coordinate shuttle services and transportation arrangements.
Additional Travel Details Complete information about airport shuttles, pickup times, and any associated costs will be provided to registered participants closer to the conference date.

Conference Hotel The official conference hotel is The Marcum Hotel & Conference Center, conveniently located on Miami University's campus. As the preferred lodging option for our conference, The Marcum offers attendees the convenience of staying right where the action happens.
Room Booking Conference attendees are encouraged to book their rooms early to secure availability. More information about special conference rates and booking procedures will be provided upon registration.
About The Marcum The Marcum Hotel & Conference Center provides comfortable accommodations with modern amenities in a beautiful campus setting. Its prime location allows easy access to all conference venues and events, eliminating the need for additional transportation during the conference.
Registration
The Full registration is good for attendance at all events during the regular conference October 16-18, including the Gala Dinner.
Pre-Conference registration is good for attendance at the all-day Play Facilitation workshop on Wednesday, October 16.
Attend NASAGA 2025 for one day only, from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm. Gala Dinner and game night events not included.

Miami University is located within the traditional homelands of the Miami people and the university has a strong relationship with the Miami Tribe. One of our keynotes will be presented by representatives of the Myaamia Center and we are celebrating with a theme in both English and the Myaamia Language.
