NASAGA 2025 Day 1 Recap

It was a busy first day at NASAGA 2025. Among the highlights:

• An opening Keynote with representatives of the Miami Tribe, who shared their difficult history and current efforts to restore their culture. NASAGAns got to play two traditional games. One made full use of the legendary bluffing skills of some NASAGAns by making them guess which moccasin hid a colored pebble. The other showed off the dexterity and hand-eye coordination (or lack thereof) of attendees through a tossing game.

One morning session put NASAGAns through a series of challenges on their way to joining the Order of Brave Thinkers.

Another session forced NASAGAns to parse through evidence and create a narrative theory of a bad breakup.

Shenanigans continued into the afternoon.

Attendees navigated and critiqued a series of educational escape games (aided by some stylish headgear!)

High stakes poker pot? Nope, a game simulating trends on social media and how they can be manipulated.
