Areas of Emphasis
We placed emphasis on three areas at the start of this board’s term:
Connect: We cultivated engagement among our members via the NASAGA LinkedIn, Blog, and Discord. Keep using those spaces to work with members and share your own thoughts!
Engage: We put a pause on online Game Nights due to lack of participation. We would love to revive this; if you are interested in shepherding this aspect of NASAGA, let us know!
Experience: We had 22 conference and 5 preconference attendees. That’s lower that previous events; we hope to get those numbers back up for 2026!
Financials
At the end of the 2024 conference, we had a relatively low account balance: $29,361 ($19,931 in general fund, $9430 in scholarships.) Thanks to some great work by JS Bragg on controlling conference costs, we are ending the 2025 conference with a significantly improved overall balance: $36,385 ($30,270 general fund, $11,876 scholarship, minus $5,761 remaining conference costs.)
