Getting to NASAGA 2026 Is Easier Than You Think
by Eric Guay
One of the nice surprises about NASAGA 2026 is how easy it is to get there.
Seriously.
Sometimes getting to a conference can feel like part of the challenge. Long transfers. Complicated directions. Parking mysteries. We’ve all been there.
That is not the case this year.
From October 14–17 we’ll be gathering at the Hyatt Regency Rochester, right in downtown Rochester. Once you arrive, much of what you need is super close. Restaurants are walkable, and the venue is easy to navigate.
And getting there is simple.
Flying In?
Flying into the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport is about as easy as conference travel gets.
The airport is only about four miles from the hotel. That means about a seven-minute taxi or rideshare ride.
You land. Grab your bag. Catch a ride. You are at the conference before the travel day has a chance to wear you down.
Public transit is also available if that’s your preference.
Pretty painless.
Prefer the Train?
That works too.
When you arrive at the Louise M. Slaughter Rochester Station, you’re very close to the hotel.
It’s about a fifteen-minute walk.
That’s right. You can actually walk to the conference hotel from the train station.
Or grab a quick Uber or Lyft if you prefer.
Not many conference locations can say that.
Driving In?
Also, easy.
The hotel connects directly to the South Avenue Garage on Stone Street. Parking is straightforward and affordable.
Current posted rates are:
$2 per hour
$10 daily maximum
Park and you are there. No scavenger hunt required.
Reserving Your Room
With game night every night, you are going to want to stay where the action is so you don’t miss a moment of fun.
We have a block of rooms available at the hotel where the conference is taking place:
Hyatt Regency Rochester
125 East Main Street
Rochester, New York, 14604.
The rate for our hotel block is $159.00 per night (plus 14% tax).

Why Mention Logistics in a Blog Post?
Because travel shapes your conference experience more than people realize.
A stressful arrival can drain your energy before the first session starts. An easy arrival does the opposite. It lets you settle in. It lets you connect sooner. It lets you focus on why you came. And at NASAGA that matters.
This is not a conference where you sit in the back of a ballroom and quietly take notes.
You will be participating. Playing. Experimenting. Meeting people.
The experience starts when you arrive, so we wanted getting there to feel simple.
Choose the route that works for you. Book early. Invite a colleague.
Then show up ready to engage. We’ll take care of the rest.
See you in Rochester!
