Scholarship Application

To apply, fill out the form below and email the following supporting documents to scholarships@nasaga.org with your name and NASAGA Scholarship in the subject field.

  1. Personal statement: You may submit in any medium you wish (e.g., essay, video, etc), but be sure that it communicates the criteria for each scholarship.

    • Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship: describe what diversity and inclusion means to you and how that intersects with the field of games and simulation.

    • Judee Blohm Scholarship: describe your interest in games and simulation and illustrates how you use or plan to use games and simulations in relation to education.

    • Richard Powers Scholarship: describe how you use or plan to use games and simulations in relation to social justice and/or sustainabilit

  3. Reference: Provide a letter of reference explaining why you are a good candidate to receive this scholarship. Your reference’s contact information should be included. (Reference not required for Diversity and Inclusion scholarship.)

  4. Proof of student status: If you are a student, attach proof of your status as a student in a recognized institution (including your status as part-time or full-time). This should be on your school letterhead.

Applications for the 2023 conference are due on July 14, 2023. Decisions will be made by August, 2023.
