Trainer/Instructional designer for SAP end user training

Hello.

I'm a technical trainer/instructional designer who works primarily with SAP R/3. The training is based primarily on completing computer tasks. Any hints on how to modify soft skills activities to task based activities? Thanks!

Patti Schulz

Hi Patti ...

Welcome to a great community. Years ago I was involved in SAP implementation and training -- what a great world. One of the current board members is also involved with SAP!

Specifically what do you mean when you ask -- "Any hints on how to modify soft skills activities to task based activities?" Any specific SAP modules?

Dave

Hi Patti,

This might be a bit more specific then you're looking for, but I've attached an overview of how one simulation, Terra Nova, might be used to help with the people or soft-skills side of an SAP implementation.

It was used with a pharma client who was just starting their implementation, and was trying to avoid some of the common pitfalls.

It speaks to the OD side of the equation.

If you would like more information, don't hesitate to call or email - good luck!
