Happy Social Media Day--Thinking about Social Games Online

I was googling for games this morning thinking about social media games. I came to the interesting article on Wikipedia entitled Social Network Game.  Although the article is about what now seems to be known simply as social games, it got me thinking, what if my social networks were a game? What are the rules? How do you keep score? Is it number of friends, followers, retweets, likes, or something else?

These thoughts were inspired by Robert Horn, former chair of NASAGA, in the 1976 NASAGA Conference keynote speech "The Convention Game" he asks similar questions about attending a conference. By the way, NASAGA's 50 Anniversary Conference is in November 2012. Plan now to play the conference game yourself.

So, how are you playing a social network game on social media day?
