2nd ABSEL www.absel.org ABSEL also had a containing over 2000 papers on gaming in business schoo. These papers have bibliographies of at least 10,000 references.
3rd. Check the publication Simulation and Games/ It is a sage publication
At the bottom of the ISAGA's web page is a large list of organizations from all over the world that have many academics involved.

I am just getting started with the development of blended approach that uses games and exercises for learning in an academic setting for teaching. As this is at the very beginning, I cannot tell you much more than that so will have to get back to you in a couple of months when I can have more information.
However, I have used games for TTT activities with trainers and non-trainers as part of non-credit custom programs myself with great effect.
